2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 17 of 2025 instituted for the offences under Sections 137(1), 87, 303(2), 115(2), 126(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. Prosecution case, in short, is that the petitioner and other accused persons kidnapped the informant's wife and his children and also took money and ornaments.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that both the parties are neighbour and the present case has been lodged only

Learned counsel further submitted that It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2025 and has no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner stating that victim in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has supported the case of the prosecution.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as also Section 183 Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 statement of the victim, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner is, hereby, rejected.
