The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case no. 78 of 2018, registered under Sections 304B and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that the marriage of Rupam Devi, sister of the informant, was performed in the year 2016 with Shailendra Ram, son of Abhinandan Ram, resident of village- Shilanath Rupauli, P.S. Jankinagar, District-Purnea, while Rupam Devi, sister of the informant, was kept properly at her matrimonial house for some days, thereafter, she was being tortured for demand of motorcycle and cash, in dowry, by her husband and other in-laws. On 19.05.2018, informant came
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64990 of 2018(3) dt.29-01-2019 2/2 to know that her sister Rupam Devi has been put on fire due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and she is under treatment at Bhagalpur hospital, then informant went at Bhagalpur and found his sister dead.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners are married sisters of husband of the deceased and they have falsely been implicated in this case without any specific overt act.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Purnea in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 78 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438
(2) of the Cr.P.C.
