2 It is submitted by learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner that the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of District Engineer in the Zila Parishad, Saran under his representation dated 28.04.2015 is still pending. He submits that since during pendency of the writ petition, some appointment has been made which affects his right, he has also filed an interlocutory application bearing IA No 2826 of 2018.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10406 of 2015 dt.13-08-2018 2/2 3 Keeping in view the limited prayer for disposal of his representation, which is pending before respondent No 3, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that respondent No 3 would be obliged to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4 If the petitioner's claim has a clash with the persons whose appointment has been made the subject matter of IA No 2826 of 2018, namely, Shri Devendra Kumar, Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department, Works Division, the decision on the petitioner's claim would be subject to consideration of the claim of the said Shri Devendra Kumar also.
