The petitioner seeks bail in Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 285 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable punishable under Sections 414/420 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a)/36/41(I) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

5697.720 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck.

It is submitted that name of petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Krishna Ram. No recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent of similar nature and he is in custody since 18.03.2021. Investigation is

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 285 of 2021, once the charge is framed in the case.
