The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kotwali (Barari) P.S. Case No. 766 of 2021, dated 11.11.2021, instituted for the offences under Sections 457, 380, 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

A theft was committed in the house of the brother-in-law of the informant. One of the miscreants, namely, Ram Roop Yadav, was arrested. The name of the petitioner has been disclosed by the local persons and not by the person who was arrested on the spot.

There has been no recovery from the petitioner and he has no criminal antecedents.

The petitioner is said to be in custody since 12.04.2022.

Considering the facts afore-stated, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Kotwali (Barari) P.S. Case No. 766 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
