Heard learned counsel for the parties concerned. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was given the pay-scale of Rs. 5500-9000 with effect from the year 1997 but subsequently, the scale has been reduced in the year 2006 and a reduced scale was given to the petitioner at Rs. 5200-20200. The petitioner has filed a representation dated 23.11.2015 before the Registrar, Patna University, Patna, which has not yet been decided and is still pending.

Learned counsel for the University submits that the Registrar may be directed to dispose off the representation by giving a reasoned order.

In view of the nature of dispute and taking into consideration the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the Registrar, Patna University, Patna is directed to dispose off the representation of the petitioner, annexed as Annexure-10 to the writ application, within a reasonable time frame. It is made clear that if petitioner is willing to file additional representation, he shall be at liberty to file the same before the Registrar, Patna University, Patna, within a period of four weeks from today. 5.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed.
