2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 145 of 2023 dated 07.06.2023, lodged under Sections 17, 18, 21 & 22 of the N.D.P.S Act 1985 pending before A.D.J.-IV, Araria.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 06.12.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 63617 of 2023. Counsel submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is not clean as there is one criminal case pending against her in which she is on bail. The petitioner is in custody since 07.06.2023 in the present case. Counsel further submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50544 of 2024(3) dt.11-09-2024 2/2 other co-accused persons have been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide orders dated 20.12.2023 and 23.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc Nos. 63184 of 2023 & 69594 of 2023 respectively.

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that report about the present stage of the trial has been called for and upon perusal of the said report, Trial court has submitted that within nine months, trial shall be concluded.

5. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
