The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding directing the respondents to issue an order to regularizes the service of the petitioner in the regular establishment accordance with law on the post of III Grade employees in the vacant post in

Patna High Court CWJC No.12723 of 2015(2) dt.31-08-2023 2/3 concerning Department in the light of Resolution dated 15.12.90 an Annexure5 because the petitioner has completed more than 26 years of continuous service from 20.07.1989 till date.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANADAMUS commanding and directing the respondents to continue the duty of the petitioner for till up/ appoint on the post of III grade employee which was vacant since long back on which the petitioner the respondents authorities keep since and not taking any action for fill up the vacant post.

(iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondents authorities to pay the salary with all previous arrears from June 1990 to till date alongwith interest."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
