1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction Commanding the respondents authorities to regularize/absorb the petitioners in service against the respective sanction and vacant posts of Class- III and Class-IV posts over which they are continuously working since 1979 and 1980 respectively except petitioner no.25.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondents for payment of arrear of salaries w.e.f. 1.03.2013 to till date to all the petitioners except petitioner no.25.

(iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondents for payment of arrear of salaries of Late Md. Moinuddin to petitioner no.25 w.e.f. 01.03.2013 till 07.10.2014."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks

Patna High Court CWJC No.17838 of 2015(2) dt.22-09-2023 3/3 liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
