The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Awadpur P.S. Case No. 201 of 2017 dated 11.12.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 363, 366, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

His prayer for bail was earlier rejected twice. This Court had, on 20.01.2021 called for a report about the latest stage of the case. The report dated 25.01.2021 indicates that all the witnesses in the case have been examined and the case is pending for examination of accused persons under Section 313 Cr.P.C.

This case is almost at the fag end and at this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5163 of 2021(4) dt.10-03-2021 2/2 stage, this Court would not like to exercise its discretion for grant of bail, notwithstanding the period of custody of the petitioner.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to positively conclude the trial within a period of three months, failing which the petitioner will have the liberty to approach this Court again.

The petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
