The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 154 of 2020, G.R. No. 1178 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence.

In fact, no firearm or any incriminating weapon has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner rather the petitioner, who is a Mahant of a Temple, has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted the petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 23.04.2020.

No.3225 of 2021(2) dt.17-06-2021 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the, above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Khagaria in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 154 of 2020.
