2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Piro P.S. Case No. 101 of 2026, registered for offences under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 109(1), 61(2)(a), 352 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. This appears to be a bona fide land dispute between the parties. It is alleged that, in the backdrop of this dispute, a group of persons opened fire upon the prosecution party.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents and has been in custody since 01.04.2026. The injury report, as noted in the impugned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45569 of 2026(2) dt.08-07-2026 2/3 order, records that Pintu Kumar alias Kachche sustained a gunshot injury between the stomach and thigh. The allegation of firing is specifically attributed to two persons, both alleged to have inflicted injury to the same part of the body. The first allegation is against the petitioner and the second is against Akhilesh Kumar.

5. Learned APP for the State as well as learned counsel for the Informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail and submitted that seven persons have been injured and that the injured Pintu has sustained four gunshot injuries.

6. Considering the backdrop of the dispute, the absence of clarity as to whose gunshot injured the victim, and the absence of criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VIII, Bhojpur at Ara/concerned Court, in connection with Piro P.S. Case No. 101 of 2026.
