The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to follow the Guidelines / Rules framed for appointment of Anganwari Sevika / Anganwari Sahayika.

Though several facts have been stated in the writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.14129 of 2019(2) dt.18-07-2019 2/3 petition with several prayers but it appears that petitioner who was appointed as an Anganwari Sevika at Centre No. 46 in the district of West Champaran, Bettiah has been shifted to Centre No. 48.

Against the aforesaid shifting of the Centre, the petitioner represented before the C.D.P.O., Bettiah, West Champaran and also sought permission to continue working at Centre No. 46 where she was earlier working. It has further been submitted that the C.D.P.O., Bettiah, West Champaran wrote a letter to the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, intimating him that there has been some anomaly in the shifting of the Centre and the purpose of shifting was to accommodate some other person.

However, till date no decision has been taken. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to make a representation before the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, within a period of four weeks, who shall have the facts verified and ensure that Anganwari Centres are run at the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14129 of 2019(2) dt.18-07-2019 3/3 designated place and not at the whims of the District Programme Officer or any other officer and shall pass a reasoned order in accordance with law, within a further period of eight weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
