The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the concerned authorities that despite of his entitlement, he has not been paid the benefit of the A.C.P. from the period from which he is entitled.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was initially appointed as Assistant Urdu Translator at Raxaul Block Office in the year 1983. The Rajbhasa Department recommended the case of the petitioner and
Patna High Court CWJC No.14259 of 2019(2) dt.18-07-2019 2/2 others for grant of A.C.P. but the aforesaid recommendation was never acted upon. A notification also has been issued by the Government of Bihar dated 12.02.2019 listing the names of such employees who are eligible for A.C.P. and the name of the petitioner figures in the aforesaid list. Despite this, the petitioner has not been paid the benefit of the A.C.P.
The petitioner, under the aforesaid circumstances, is directed to make a fresh representation before the Director, Urdu Rajbhasa Directorate, Bihar, Patna (Respondent No. 2) within a period of four weeks, who, on receipt of the such representation, shall have the matter verified and pass / caused to be passed a reasoned order in accordance with law, within a further period of eight weeks thereafter.
With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
