Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects, if any, within three weeks. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 308, 506, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is said to have assaulted the father of the informant by means of lalthi as a result of which father of the informant received head injury.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that the petitioner was granted benefit under Section 41(1) of the Cr.P.C. He submits that there is 10 days delay in lodging the FIR delay of 4 days. He further submits that

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the injury found upon the victim is grievous in nature.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of injury, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Sikty P.S. Case No. 187 of 2018. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) devendra/- U T
