====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-06-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction commanding the respondents to declare the petitioner pass in mains exam of 53rd-55th common combined competitive examination conducted by the B.P.S.C. Patna thereafter take his interview and after the same if the petitioner is found to be having more marks than the last candidate selected in his category finally then to appoint the petitioner on the post he deserves and or for any other order or orders which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the

Patna High Court CWJC No.22615 of 2013(2) dt.22-06-2023 2/2 circumstances of the case and during pendency of this application Your Lordships may be pleased to restrain respondents from making any appointments in handicap quota of all categories."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the RespondentBihar Public Service Commission has submitted that the petitioner had obtained 646 marks under the Orthopedic Handicapped BC Category whereas the last candidate selected from the said category for the interview had obtained 677 marks, hence, the contention of the petitioner that candidates having lesser marks than him, in his category, have been called for interview is not correct.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is bereft of any merit, hence is dismissed.
