Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Derni P.S. Case No. 140 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 366A, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have abducted a minor girl. The allegation has been supported by the victim girl.

Considering the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The trial is directed to be expedited.
