The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 307, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In pursuance to the order dated 02.11.2022, status report of trial in connection with Sessions Trial No. 211 of 2016 arising out of Ara (Town) P.S. Case No. 198 of 2012 has been received and kept at Flag-A, in which it is, inter alia, reported that the trial may be concluded within six months. Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No. 211 of 2016 arising out of Ara (Town) P.S. Case No. 198 of 2012 pending before the court of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-XIII, Bhojpur at Ara.

However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. If the trial is not concluded within six months, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
