The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420, 489A, 489B, 489C ad 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, it is stated that the petitioner came on a motorcycle and handed over a packet to the accused standing near the place of occurrence which on search, it transpired that the same contained fake notes worth Rs. 28,600/-.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 27.4.2022 (Annexure-1) giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charage. Charge has been framed on 17.11.2021 vide Annexure-3. The

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation in the FIR, liberty granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 27.4.2022, charge having been framed in the learned trial court and the petitioner having remained in custody since 2.6.2021, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kursela P.S. Case no. 74 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J. I - cum - Special Judge, Katihar.
