The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chapra Nagar P.S. Case No. 252/2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a), 41(i) (ii) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

180 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a tempo vehicle in which the petitioner had been travelling as a bonafide passenger.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the liquor which has been seized does not belong to him. Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 09.05.2021 and taking into account that he has no criminal antecedents, he is
