Learned counsel for the H.D.F.C Bank being present submits and correctly so that the prayer of the petitioner in this writ application for quashing the letter dated 04.04.2009 of the Bank is simply not maintainable for the reason that H.D.F.C. Bank is not 'State' within the meaning of Article-12 of the Constitution of India.

That being so, this writ application is not maintainable and is, accordingly, dismissed.
