The petitioner seeks bail in Mehdiganj P.S. Case No. 90 of 2019 (Special Case No. 4909 of 2019), instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amended) Act, 2018.

It is alleged in the written report that two polythene packets of Mahua liquor have been recovered from possession of the petitioner. It is further alleged that on disclosure made by the petitioner, 59.800 litres of Mahua liquor has been recovered from different places as mentioned in the written report and seizure list.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44931 of 2019(2) dt.24-07-2019 2/2 in custody since 29.5.2019 having clean antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special JudgeExcise, Patna, in connection with Mehdiganj P.S. Case No. 90 of 2019 (Special Case No. 4909 of 2019), subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
