2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 343 of 2023, in which, cognizance has been taken for the offence punishable under Sections-323, 341, 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per allegation, marriage of the complainant was solemnized with the petitioner. After marriage, the petitioner and his family members started torturing her for fulfillment of illegal demand of dowry, as a result of which, the complainant
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54619 of 2024(4) dt.29-01-2025 2/2 fell ill and consequently, she was ousted from her matrimonial home.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner is ready to keep the victim with full honour and dignity.
5. For exploring the possibilities of resolution of matrimonial dispute, notices were sent to O.P. No. 2 but she did not appear.
6. Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, in the event of arrest/surrender within four weeks before the court below be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Madhepura in connection with Complaint Case No. 343 of 2023 subject to the conditions as laid down u/S 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
