The petitioners are in custody since 27.08.2020 in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 317/2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including these petitioners used to regularly torture the sister of the informant (deceased) and threatened her to kill. It is further alleged that the accused persons have committed murder of his sister by hanging her by means of a scarf. Petitioner No. 1 is married sister-in-law whereas petitioner No. 2 is unmarried

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the deceased was married with the brother of these petitioners in the year 2009 and out of the said wedlock, a baby-girl and a son was born and during the entire period, there was no such allegation against these petitioners. It is further submitted that no specific allegation has been levelled against this petitioner and there is general and omnibus allegations against these petitioners. It next submitted that petitioner No. 1 is a house wife and her husband is posted at Citi Bank as a Manager at New Delhi whereas petitioner No. 2 is posted as computer engineer at Bangalore. It is submitted that as per the post mortem report, the cause of death is hanging and no sign of any external injury was found on the dead body. Chargesheet has already been submitted in this case.

Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 27.08.2020. Considering the fact that petitioners are ladies and sisters-in-law of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation against them, the bail petition of the petitioners is allowed. Let the petitioners above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.

(1) Petitioners shall co-operate in the trial and shall be properly represented on each and every date fixed by the Court and shall remain physically present, as directed by the Court on their absence on two consecutive dates without sufficient reason, their bail-bonds shall be cancelled by the Court below.

(2) If the petitioners tempers with the evidence or the witnesses, in that case, the prosecution will be at liberty to move for cancellation of bail.
