Patna High Court CWJC No.14656 of 2019(3) dt.24-07-2019 2/2 due process of law.

If the authorities have acted in breach of law, adversely affecting the rights of the petitioners, they have alternative statutory remedy under Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015 (for short 'the Act'), by making an application before the Public Grievance Redressal Officer. Since the petitioners have alternative statutory remedy, which is efficacious too, this writ application is disposed of with an observation that the petitioners shall be at liberty to approach the appropriate Officer, by making an application in accordance with the Act and the Rules, if any, framed thereunder. If any such application is made within one week from today, the Court expects that the same shall be dealt with and disposed of expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months.
