The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 325, 307, 337, 338, 353, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioners and other accused persons is of assaulting upon the police party with lathi danda and they were also indulged in brick batting.

He further submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against them and the constable Neeraj Kuamr was brutally assaulted by a mob of forty persons as alleged in the FIR. Petitioners have got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the petitioners, above named in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran, Chapra in connection with Sonepur P.S.
