The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No.114 of 2017, registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he used to give less quantity of food-grains and charge higher prices. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is general and vague against all the accused and no direct case was instituted by any ration card holder, other coaccused similarly situated have been admitted to anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court and this petitioner has got no any similar or other criminal antecedent.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52873 of 2017 (2) dt.09-11-2017 2 /2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, let petitioner, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arwal in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No.114 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
