JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-12-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in registered for the offence punishable under Sections 379, 506/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.
As per prosecution case, this petitioner along with 8 named and 25-30 unknown persons looted the petrol pump of the informant and also tried to set the petrol and diesel tank on fire. They are also alleged to have snatched away cash, jewellery and damaged the glass of main gate, machines and vehicles.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is no specific overt act against the petitioner

No.47939 of 2022(2) dt.13-12-2022 2/2 with respect to looting of the petrol pump of the informant and assaulting upon the staff members of the petrol pump Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail application submitting that petitioner has got 3 criminal antecedents and in the FIR and there is specific accusation that he along with other accused persons committed loot at the petrol pump of the informant.
Considering the aforesaid facts, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be considered and disposed of on its own merit without prejudice.
