JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 27-07-2018 In respect of a police case which was registered in the year 2004, the petitioner has moved this court for quashing of the criminal proceeding. Even though the writ application has been preferred after 11 years, in the application it is not indicated as to what transpired in course of investigation and what is the status of the case. Learned counsel for the State is present.
In the facts and circumstances whereunder the petitioner is moving this court after 11 years from the date of the lodging of the F.I.R. that too without any statement with regard to what happened during the said 11 years of period, this court refuses to exercise its extraordinary writ jurisdiction.
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.777 of 2015 (8) dt.27-07-2018 The application has not merit. It is accordingly dismissed.
