The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 384, 385, 506, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation is that petitioner demanded Rs.10 lacs as rangdari from the informant and also threatened him to kill his all sons.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 18.02.2019. Charge sheet has been submitted in this case. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case due to village politics. The informant is in habit of instituting such cases for the purpose of blackmailing local residents.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. 1st, Bhagalpur in connection with Nath Nagar (Lalmatia) P.S. case No.427 of 2017 (G.R. No.4002 of 2017).
