2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No.655 of 2023, arising out of Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No.114 of 2023 lodged under Sections 302, 201/34 of the IPC.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 28.08.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.43075 of 2024.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2023, but trial has not been concluded till date. He further submits that progress report has been called for.
5. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that heinous crime has

6. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and progress of the trial has been called for. From the progress report, it transpires that prosecution evidence was closed on 28.07.2025 and case is fixed for statement of accused persons on 11.08.2025. It also transpires that trial court has sought 4 months more to conclude the trial.
7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
8. However, it is directed to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within 4 months.
