16-02-2023 This criminal revision application has been filed against order dated 18.05.2016 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Gaya in Miscellaneous Case No. 58 of 2011 whereby and whereunder the learned Principal Judge has allowed the petition filed by opposite party no. 2 under Section 127 Cr.P.C. and enhanced the maintenance amount from Rs. 2,000/- per month to Rs. 6,000/- per month payable by 10th of every successive English calendar month.

It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the petitioner that impugned order is ex-parte and without hearing the petitioner, same has been passed.

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.1068 of 2016(4) dt.16-02-2023 2/2 I have carefully perused the impugned order. The monthly maintenance amount of Rs. 6,000/- (six thousand) to opposite party no. 2, who is wife of petitioner, in this age of high inflation cannot be said to be on higher side or excessive. In such circumstance, I do not find any illegality or perversity in the impugned order, which requires any interference by this Court.

Accordingly, this criminal revision application stands dismissed.
