The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No. 284 of 2021 dated 09.08.2021 instituted for the offence under Sections 414 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018. Fifty two litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a motorcycle, which was being run by the petitioner and his associate. The motorcycle does not belong to him.

The petitioner does not have criminal antecedents and is in custody since 10.08.2021.

For the afore-noted facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of
