The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.162(C) of 2018/Trial No.2487 of 2018 registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code besides Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Mr. Subodh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner and the opposite party no.2, who are husband and wife, have settled their dispute outside of the Court amicably and, accordingly, the petitioner will pay Rs.5,00,000/-, by way of one time settlement, to the opposite party no.2.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73904 of 2018(3) dt.06-08-2019 2/2 Sri Shyamal Prakash, learned counsel for the opposite party no.2, is present along with the opposite party no.2 and he also submits that the petitioner and the opposite party no.2 have settled their dispute.

Since the petitioner and the opposite party no.2 have settled their dispute, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Devesh Kumar, Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa (Nalanda) in connection with Complaint Case No.162(C) of 2018/Trial No.24871 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C., with further condition that the petitioner shall show the receipt of showing the payment of Rs.5,00,000/- to the opposite party no.2.
