The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No.136 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

54.400 litres of foreign liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that there is no recovery from the conscious possession of the petitioner rather 54.400 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of the

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the fact that foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
