The present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner, above named, for grant of regular bail to the petitioner who has been made accused and put behind the bar in connection with Madhuban P. S. Case No. 62 of 2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
As per the prosecution case, it is alleged that from the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57965 of 2021(2) dt.07-04-2022 2/2 possession of this petitioner 1.080 Kilogram Charas apart from one country-made pistol and cash have been recovered. Regard being had to the nature of the accusation and considering the recovery of huge quantity of narcotics substance from the possession of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of regular bail to the petitioner and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Madhuban P. S. Case No. 62 of 2021 stands rejected.
However, the learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same, expeditiously.
