The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is not named in the first information report. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of Shyamsundar Singh. Petitioner is the husband of the deceased. At the time of occurrence petitioner was in jail. It is alleged that at the instance of the petitioner other accused persons have committed murder of the wife of the petitioner. The police did not collect any tangible evidence to show that the petitioner had hand in killing his wife. Except the confessional statement, there is nothing against the petitioner to show the involvement of the petitioner.
