The petitioner is in custody since 12.1.2015 in connection with Special Case No.06/15, arising out of Patrakarnagar P.S. Case No.17 of 2015, registered for the offences under Section 376 D of the Indian Penal Code and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Considering the nature of the allegations and the statement of the prosecutrix under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The criminal miscellaneous application is, accordingly, dismissed. (Anjana Mishra, J) PNM U T
