Despite valid service of notice upon opposite party no.2, she has neither chosen to appear in person nor through her counsel.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No.287 of 2016 in which cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498A and 494 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the nature of the offence, the submissions advanced at the Bar and the pleadings made in the application, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68221 of 2018(4) dt.12-06-2020 2/2 event of arrest or surrender in the court below on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Arwal, Jehanabad in connection with Complaint Case No.287 of 2016 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
