2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Belari P. S. Case No. 19 of 2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 117(2), 109(1), 74, 303(2), 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the BNS.
3. The main submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners are that the FIR was registered against 13 persons, including the petitioners. It is further submitted that as per allegation the petitioners assaulted the

No.49297 of 2026(2) dt.29-07-2026 2/3 informant, namely, Priti Devi, who sustained simple injuries but after investigation, the allegations levelled against the petitioners were found to be false by the police and, consequently, they were not sent up for trial. However, the learned trial court has taken cognizance against them as well, despite there being no material to support the allegations. It is lastly submitted that the petitioners have no criminal antecedents.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioners.

Considering the above submissions and mainly taking into account the facts that the investigation against the petitioners has been completed and the informant sustained simple injuries who is said to have been assaulted by the petitioners and a land dispute is stated to be the genesis of the occurrence, in my opinion, in the said circumstances, the petitioners deserve to the relief of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above, in the event of their arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Belari P. S. Case No. 19 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49297 of 2026(2) dt.29-07-2026 3/3 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
