The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Guraru P.S. Case No. 9 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003. The petitioner has already offered 25 per cent of the disputed amount before the Settlement Committee. Learned counsel submits that the Committee would examine the matter and the petitioner deserves to be released on bail. I have considered the submissions.

Let the Settlement Committee examine the case upon depositing 25 per cent of the disputed amount and decide the entire issue at his own level.

Considering the aforesaid, I am inclined to grant benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and in the event of arrest he shall be released on bail subject to the conditions as
