The petitioner seeks bail in Deodha P.S. Case No. 53 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 401 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 25(1-B)A, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner was apprehended with a motorcycle although the informant has alleged that other person who was driving the motorcycle managed to flee away. On search illegal arms and ammunitions were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and the petitioner is in jail since 29.09.2014.

No.9355 of 2015 (3) dt.06-04-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that for recovery of one country made pistol and cartridges, the petitioner has already remained in jail for more than six months, he above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Deodha P.S.
