The petitioner seeks his bail in connection with Brahmpur (Krishna Brahm) P.S.Case No.219 of 2014 registered under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-B) a, 26 and 35 of the Arms act.

The informant alleged that the petitioner was apprehended and on search of his house, house-hold articles including one country made rifle and one pistol with five cartridges were recovered and seized.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession. On behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the has got as many as 12 cases of similar nature against him. Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16118 of 2015 (2) dt.08-06-2015 2/2 the petitioner and conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the trial court itself.
