The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Matihani P.S. Case No.16 of 2020 registered under Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 32 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the name of the petitioner surfaced in the case on the confessional statement of co-accused Bittu Kumar and Saurav Kumar, who have already been granted regular bail vide order dated 08.07.2020 and 19.08.2020 passed in Cr.Misc.No.21754 of 2020 and Cr.Misc.No.21819 of 2020 respectively. The other co-accused have also been granted anticipatory bail. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
