The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 761 of 2017 registered under Sections 323, 498(A), 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner is father-in-law. There is no specific allegation against him. Further submission is that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the
