The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

It is a case of recovery of about 34 liters and 560 ml. of foreign made liquor from a motorcycle of this petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

After considering the aforesaid facts that the seized

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58333 of 2021(2) dt.20-06-2022 2/2 liquor was recovered from the motorcycle of this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
