The petitioner is languishing in custody since 12.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364 and 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of kidnapping the minor daughter of the informant.
In 164 Cr. P.C. statement, the victim got her age recorded as 17 years and the learned court below also assessed as such where she has stated that 4-5 unknown abducted her from her house and from their conversation the victim gathered the names of accused as Rajendra Sah, Ranjit Sah, Sanjit Sah, Manjit Sah and Vikram Sah. The victim did not name this petitioner. The victim returned of her own. Hence, the petitioner has been roped in the present case mere on suspicion. A statement has been made in paragraph no.
of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10263 of 2015 (2) dt.19-03-2015 2 / 2 petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M. Saharsa, in connection with Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 307 of 2014.
