The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 44 of 2019 arising out of Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 105 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 20(b)(ii) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 31.03.2019. He further submits that in the instant case 10 grams Ganja was seized but nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has no concern with the seized Ganja.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and quantity of Ganja, the Court is inclined to grant
