2. This is second anticipatory bail application on behalf of the petitioner. Earlier, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner was dismissed by a Coordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 19.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29786 of 20242.

It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that subsequently, similarly situated coaccused person, namely Munna Singh Bhokta, has been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 16.04.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9934 of 2024 and therefore, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to this petitioner may also be reconsidered.

4. It is settled law that grant of bail to co-accused persons cannot be a ground for subsequent anticipatory bail application. There is no other fresh or new ground for moving this second anticipatory bail application. In this regard, reliance can be placed on the recent judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of G.R. Ananda Babu Vs. State of Tamil Nadu and Anr. reported in 2021 SCC OnLine SC 176.
5. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and aforesaid judicial pronouncement, this anticipatory bail application is dismissed.
