JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-03-2015 Petitioner is languishing in custody since 15.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 387/34 of the I.P.C and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged that on 21.08.2014 two persons came, resorted to firing and threw a slip demanding extortion of rupees ten lacs. The First Information Report was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner sprang up during investigation when he confessed that he used to give information to the activities of the police to the gang of extortionists.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that only on suspicion the petitioner has been roped in the present case.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9789 of 2015 (2) dt.17-03-2015 2/2 petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikarahana at Motihari in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 89 of 2014.

Since the petitioner is accused in three other cases, let learned Court below cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner, if the petitioner gets substantially involved in similar nature of offence or defaults for three consecutive occasions during trial.
